The type of personal data Mumebo collects: In order to access and/or download materials available for free from this Website or to purchase a license for fee-paid materials and access such materials from this Website, a user is required to create a user account and provide Us with basic information including a user’s email address, first and last name, and a password created by the user. A user is responsible for the security of his or her password. Any public interaction on the site such as reviews or comments will be displayed along with a user’s first and last name. Once you place an order, We collect additional information, if any, needed to process and complete your order including, but not limited to, your billing address. We collect the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address of all Website users. Certain features of the Website may be restricted based upon IP address; in addition, a user’s IP address may be used to monitor file downloads and determine the user’s location and applicable taxes on purchases as well as to implement security measures. We provide each Author with a Profile Page that will by default display publicly the Author’s full name, city, state and country as provided by the author at time of registration. An Author may optionally post a profile picture, tagline, instruments, styles, specialties, links to website and social media profiles, and bio to the Author’s publicly visible Profile Page. All materials and postings are subject to our Terms of Use. If you use the Website, We may also collect information about you or your computer when you browse to allow you to use the services available on the Website.

We will use reasonable measures to protect your sensitive personally identifiable information against accidental or unlawful loss, access or disclosure. We may share your information with third parties who provide services to Us as part of Our business operations, but We won’t sell your information to others.

The type or identity of third parties to which Mumebo discloses personal information are third party service providers, such as: (a) payment processors; your information is passed on to payment processors to receive and make payments. You can choose to opt-out by not making purchases and not selling lesson materials on the site. (b) email newsletter marketing services: if you opt-in to receiving newsletters we will disclose your name, email address and purchase history to a newsletter service provider to enable them to send you our newsletter with personalized offers, based on your purchase history. You can opt-out at any time.

Individuals may choose to remove their personal data from Mumebo records deleting their Mumebo account. If an individual removes his or her Mumebo account, Mumebo shall remove all the individual’s personal data from Mumebo’s files except for any information that Mumebo is required to maintain by applicable law. However, a Mumebo account may not be deleted while a Mumebo transaction is still in process. The account will be deleted 30 days after the last Mumebo transaction utilizing the account to be deleted has been completed in Mumebo’s sole discretion.

In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, We commit to resolve complaints about Our collection or use of your personal information.  Individuals in the European Union with inquiries or complaints regarding our Private Shield policy should first contact Mumebo Inc. at:

Mumebo Inc. has further committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield complaints to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from Us, or if We have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please contact or visit for more information or to file a complaint.  The services of JAMS are provided at no cost to you.
As a last resort, for complaints left unresolved by all other available mechanisms, individuals may invoke binding arbitration before a Privacy Shield Panel, consisting of a pool of 20 arbitrators designated by the United States Department of Commerce and the European Commission, from which the parties will be able to select either one or three arbitrators.

Mumebo discloses personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. Mumebo is not responsible for the onward transfer of an individual’s personal information in breach of any agreement between Mumebo and the third party responsible for the onward transfer of the individual’s personal information. However, Mumebo remains liable unless Mumebo proves that Mumebo is not responsible for the event giving rise to damage from onward transfer.

We have written agreements or commitments with Our third party services providers which control the privacy and security of the information we share with them. If we are involved in a reorganization, merger, acquisition or sale of Our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
